What stupid things people do to the Z
Well i'm driving down the road minding my own business when I actually see another Z on the road. It's a chrome silver probably touring or track.
However i did see one thing very clearly...this one had a car bra on it! And it looked like it was not very secure.
To whoever has done this atrocity...STOP IT! It just pains me to think of it!
Which brings me to ask this question:
What stupid things have you seen done to a Z?

Have youall seen the pictures of the LeMans Sunset 350Z in Texas that has Longhorn horns on the front??? And a HUGE sticker of the A&M Texas Longhorns on his rear window???
There are pictures of the fore & aft.... What was he thinking????

As a resident of Texas, let me make a quick correction before a UT grad comes here and goes insane.
There are two really big Unis in Texas that hate each other.
The University of Texas, which is the Longhorns, and their color is burnt orange.
On the other end of the scale, you have the Aggies, of Texas A&M.
Two different schools that wouldn't cross the street to spit on the other if it was on fire.
All that being said, the UT freak who did this to their Z should be shot.

Well I have taken my "nose cover" off my Z... it didnt fit under the hood... too tight between the rubber and the edge. Guess this is a good thing. THe bad thing is I have to deal with the rock chips... oh well..

I haven't seen anything stupid yet (knock on wood), but I'm can't wait (read: sarcasm) to see 350's w/ cf hoods, neon lights, and bodykits that'll make even baby Jesus cry.
*shrug* At least the windshield sprayer nozzles are part of the windshield wipers so the kids won't be able to put LED lights on'em.

ZBarrister...Exactly what is wrong about having a car Bra? I'm sure you have an answer. Seeing that you don't know if it was on sucure or not please tell me a better way to avoid paint chips without a 500 dollar Expel kit....

Uh, Michael-Dallas, there is already one member of this forum (who shall remain nameless - NOT me), who has already outfitted his/her DB car with blue neon in the front grill and driver & passenger footwells..........

I will want to add to my list that pic I just saw of a hole being cut out of the hood for that supercharger. I'm all for getting as much as you can out of the car but not that...that's just wrong.

Does the nose mask really look that bad?
Have I crossed over some line that I wasn't aware existed, by putting this on my Z?
I bought this mask about 2 months ago. I think it cost me about $85 at Cerritos Nissan (after Group Z discount). I wasn't sure if I was going to put it on the Z or not, I was just anxious to buy some things for my car while I waited. After getting home from picking up my Z from the dealer yesterday, I noticed that the front had all these small 'dirt clod' hits - not dings, but I'm sure they would've been if it was rocks and not dirt that had hit my car.
I put the bra on that evening, and decided to keep it on until I can see one of these 3M kits installed on a Z in person. (I had never even heard of these 'clear nose masks' before coming to this site).
But, I don't think the black nose mask looks bad. Do you guys?
If you see a Silverstone driving around Orange County with a black bra, and a "Go Angels" rear temporary license plate, you'll know it's me.
That is unless you'all shame me into removing it.
