Post Interviewd by Nissan Engineer.

Yes Ladies & Gents, this past Thursday @ noon, I got a visit from the Nissan Engineer for this region which was setup last week. Basically my dealership had given him my name as an owner of a 350Z who would "Definitely be interested."
So he taped the entire interview and in some cases photographed (areas of concern) for the interview. I pointed out several: crappy location for a/c outlet, lack of glove box, paint thickness, that joke of a sunglasses holder and the infamous passenger rear-view mirror rattling! Which I'm happy to announce a fix is on the way!!! Don't ask me when, cause all I was told was "Real soon......" Basically Nissan would like to address issues (to an extent) on future cars. To make a long story short I gave him my likes and dislikes and I received $50 for my time. And people I got to tell you, I had some serious questions regarding the upcoming G35 Coupe, and he said in a nutshell, "It is AWESOME." Everything I liked about the Z (looks, handling, performance) are present in the coupe PLUS better appointments and fit & finish! I've decided no more modifications to this car until after I drive the Coupe! Because it just might replace the Z...........

Did you (or he) mention anything about FI in the near future (Turbo or Supercharger)?

Here's a reason you probably will not see a supercharger from the factory any time soon. This is the best Stillen can do!

There is just no room for either. Too many changes necessary to fall into budget limitations currently.

LOL! He didn't leave me copies Mike! Basically he told me the interviews (nationwide) will eventually go to the actual Japanese engineers (translated of course) along with pictures. I also commented on the "texturized" door panels and that alleged door compartment at the bottom of both doors. I can't even get my wallet in there for goodness sake. It's only good for gum wrappers & receipts. He had no clue on forced induction, but there is also a gas-cap fixer upper in the works, and no, I don't have an exact date.

I'm guessing that it's an Eaton unit:
