VD racer - I'm not trying to alarm you but it appears a UFO is on final for your head.

The handles are fine - only complaint they show finger prints.

 

I'm indifferent... they're not my favorite feature of the car, but I don't think they are an eyesore either. I definitely think they look better on the darker colors, though. On lighter colors, they don't stand out enough and it makes you think the concept was completely thought through... "let's make a door handle that stands out, but not in color that separates it from the rest of the car..."

 

I like the door handles. They stand out just enough so (hopefully) they're idiot proof from scratches and other dumb things people can do. If you can't tell that those shiny silver things are what you're supposed to grab ahold of, you should be locked up in a rubber room and never let out.

 

VQ, i was going to ask you why you park on the grass ll the time, dont you know it isnt good for the lawn????? Dont your parents hate the tire marks,,,,, what good is a driveway if you only park on the grass?

 

Ok, this time I tried putting the handles back on, and taking off the top. I don't know what it has to do with this thread, but heck, why not?

I have the DB and I have heard not one negative voice on them.. people come up and touch them and stroke them... its kinda funny.

i have always liked the door handles the way they are. really makes the car stand apart from the crowd and they are pretty easy to open the car with. it lookes especially good on the silver colors.

But seriously : I love them, I think they are very cool.

Anecdote : when my ex-wife so the car the first time, she had two comments :

- It looks like a girl car. (Maybe because is red and she likes SUVs and buses).

- I like the door handles.

 

Beautiful handles but I wish they didn't seem so vulnerable to being forced open.
