will this "tire feathering" problem hurt us 2003-2004 owners' resale values.

i was planning on maybe selling my Z once it gets into the higher milege. around 100,000. that would be about 4-5 years down the road. i put about 25,000 a year on my cars. everybody is talking about great resale for the Z bla bla bla. well the resale is good for us right now because there really is no Z model that "for sure" has the tire issue fixed yet. now imagine this. the 2005s come out and have no problems with the tires. then the 2006 and 2007s also with no tire problems at all. now imagine us trying to sell our Zs 4-5 years down the road. and everybody is like "i'm not buying your Zs, they are those 2003-2004 with the tire problems.". thats is what is going to happen. i actually have a 2004.5 . and the jury is out on if they have the same problem or it was fixed. regardless when i go to sell my car it says 2004 in the title. and thats where i will be grouped. and my resale will suffer for it. lets face it, nissan is going to fix the problem on upcoming models. think about it, is someone in 2008 going to buy a 2004 with known tire issues or a 2005 or 2006 with those issues fixed. anybody else think of this?

seems everybody already knows about it. i've had friends say "awesome car, i heard it has tire issues". plus anybody in the used car market is going to do their research about a model and year before just going and slapping down thousands of dollars.
