Interesting to note that almost all of the 10 or so 350Z's at this event were either CS or SS. The event in Plao Alto (at Takeo's restaurant) had a dozen 305Z's, 4 were Brickyard and 3 were Super Black. No Redlind or PP White at either event.

Alright, Dmitry. It was nice to meet you and it's good to see you posting. Keep it going.
Yeah, it's a little depressing that winter is coming but hopefully we can do something before the snow hits. If not, we need to make up for it next spring and summer with many gettogethers.
Good luck with your toy.

Hey Gadgetman, I do have a pic of the side scoops, it's in my gallery. You sure did manage to turn heads. When you pulled in, Dmitry said, "Oh no, somebody riced out their Z!" I thought the sticker idea was pretty cool. Somebody should put a screaming chicken on the hood. Didn't get a chance to meet you in person, maybe next time.
Overall, excellent show, but boring color selection by the Z33's present. Next time, (hopefully soon), we'll try to find something a little more colorful.
I can't drop my film off till wednesday, working tomorrow night.
Hopefully it'll be back by before the weekend.

True, but let's not forget-
A) CS & SS may be common, but they are still damn sweet.
but more importantly....
B) All Z's present had the proper transmission choice.

Um, I have to post a retraction, or more properly, a correction. DimitryZ was NOT at the show. Instead the Dmitry present was Dimka. Sorry. What do you expect for a guy with less than 10 posts?
Sorry for propagating this misinformation.

Still enjoying your stunning blue baby? Wish we could see it yesterday!

HI ROUXENY:
Glad you and others got a a reaction and eventual chuckle from my little gag. Since I haven't attend an Z event at Bob Sharps since '85 with my '85 Turbo ZX, I was having mixed emotions during my ~ 100 mi trek deciding ... TO FLAME OR NOT TO FLAME? How will it go over /be received.
I did leave them on for others to take notice/pics for awhile but it was bothering me as well, and eventually returned the car to it's proper appearance. ON the hood idea... I would have really tricked it out as I had more materials to use than I did use. Could have done so really noticable work there... but magnetic film does have that special attraction for Aluminum as steel ya know. OH well, perhaps that's good since someone might actually try to put on a screamin' chicken!
Really wished someone had the 3M film on their car. Still on the fence on that topic. But paranoid since it should be done ASAP or for a "prechip" appeareance that would last?

If you can get one used on the Bay or on Amazon, it's worth a look.

Hey Ethan, that's exactly the same camera I had with me.
I'm pretty impressed with the pics, although now that I've seen some 3 or more megapixel cameras, I can really tell the difference.
The size is really the best thing, very easy to carry around.

A story spread rapidly that ZGiRL and her roommate were on the way with a DB track. This, very unfortunately, proved to be a rumor.

Alright! I finally got my 35mm shots back and I'm putting them up right now. It might take a while for all the shots to go up, they're fairly large.
I am beginning to like digital a lot, but a good 35mm camera just offers so many more options when taking pics.
Some of these are shot with my Canon 50/1.4, the rest are with a Tamron 28-300, so if they're a little grainy, that's why.
Here's my favorite so far of the bunch. It's not of a 350, but I still like it.
