350z factory limited edition book
The cover letter reads:
Dear Z Enthusiast,
The highly anticipated launch of the 2003 Nissan Z was everything we had hoped it would be. The introduction of the Z awed the automotive industry with its legendary power, performance and styling. It marked the return of a true sportscar to the delight of sports car enthusiasts around the globe.
A a result, the Nissan 350Z was showered with prestigious accolades. From the highlly coveted "Automobile of the Year" awarded by Automobile Magazine, to Car and Driver's "10 Best" in January of 2003, the Z has proven that it is still a force to be reckoned with.
To celebrate the success of the Nissan Z and its longstanding tradition of excellence, we have created the limited edition books the commemorate the Z in all of its glory. Titled "A-Z," "Words Fail" and "Symbols," these books include photography of the Z from some of the world's most revered photographers. Only 15,000 of each of these beautiful books have been printed, and now they are yours to keep.
We hope you enjoy them.
Sincerly,

The Z Book
I have been meaning to order that book from Nissan. I finally decided to do it after reading your post. Nissan said it was discontunued and no longer available.
I ordered from Courtesy, but had to pay $44.95 versus the $19.95 that it used to cost from the internet Nissan store. Oh well, i thought it was worht having so I got it.

Just bought mine - $53 with shipping.
Don't know if I like the fact that dealerships are selling them at 100% markup. Would have been nice to receive a letter from NNA notifying only 350z owners of the pending release with priority purchasing.
At any rate, thanks for the heads up and I'm looking forward to reading and displaying what appears to be a very nice book.

There is also the "Lust Then Love: The Story of the 350z" hard cover book. I got one off of Ebay and it's a great book.
But looking at the book at Nissan's online store...it's the same book! So is this the one you guys are talking about? I have had it for nearly 4 months.

Is it mainly about the older Z? How much covers the design & theory behind the 350? I hate when they do these kinda books and like the last 2 pages would cover the 350?

i dont think everyone is talking about the same book.
the lust then love book is over 100 pages its balanced through out on all the Z cars . but at the same time there is alot on the 350z from clay model to production
as for that 3 book set. my dealer said they are only for the people that order the 35th anniversary Z..............how stupid is that

Lets not compare apples to oranges!
Hey guys! Lets get this straight. This thread started out talking about the limited edition (15,000 books printed) books as illustrated below. They are not (normally) for sale, but were distributed at press releases for the Z, and pre-order Z customers got a copy. The rest were distributed to Z clubs around the country. The notion that this book is available only to buyers of the anniversary Z is pure bunk from uninformed dealers!
"Lust then Love" was a commercial book sold thru Z dealers and in bookstores, but is now out of print. Two different things here.
For those that are interested in the set of slipcased trio of books with photographs illustrating the advertising campaigns announcing the introduction of the 350Z, please PM me.
