Default Hual Tricorn last boat with Z's on east coast???

Does anybody know if the Hual Tricorn is the last boat with pre-orders coming to the east coast? It arrived in Jacksonville last Thursday (October 17th). If it isn't the last, does anyone know what the name of the next scheduled boat arriving is?

Cool, and according to this schedule, the west coast strike will not affect cars being delivered to east coast ports. At least not in this case. Note, no stop on the west coast of the US.

For updates on HUAL shipping, you can go to their website... www.hual.com. On the right is a search bar, select trade route for Far East to US East Coast.

This search will give you a full list of scheduled deliveries for the east coast for all their ships. The summary list will only give dates yet to be filled. (For example, the HUAL Tricorn Voyage 57 no longer shows a date for Norfolk because it has already visited Norfolk and is heading further north now). To get a detail of all stops for a Voyage, click on the Voyage number.

I seem to recall reading somewhere else that the Z's come out of Yokohama, Japan. If you don't see that port on the schedule for a ship, it is not bearing Zs.

Hope this helps others still waiting for their cars!

Andy,

According to that schedule our cars should have been on the Tricorn! Has yours showed up on Nissan website inventory yet?

Based on delivery date given, I agree that the cars should have been on the Tricorn. As I understand the process, the car has to get from the dock to the Nissan distribution site before it will show up in dealer inventory. From that point, it's anywhere from 1 to 5 days until delivery.

Lucky me... I'll be out of town most of next week. My car will probably show up while I'm gone...

The late October / early November deliveries will indeed be on the Hual Tricorn. I know there is a schedual for this ship on the Hual website, but is there anyway to verify whether or not the ship actually docked on schedule? It was due into Newport News, VA yesterday, the 20th. I seem to remember a webcam or something at one of these docks. Anyone remember what the URL is?

If you go to the Hual website and follow the instructions I listed above, you will find HUAL Tricorn - Voyage 57 on the list. The first display is summary of stops yet to happen updated daily by Hual. Last week, Norfolk showed on the list. Now it lists Baltimore and New York only, so the Norfolk drop has definitely occurred.

You view the entire schedule, including stops already made, by clicking on the Voyage 57 link.
