Talking Sold my Z - it was time for an upgrade!

many of you may have noted I have not posted much here lately except in the Off Topics forum about HIN-Atlanta.

The reason why is I have been eagerly awaiting my new car to arrive. A buyer recently claimed my heavily modded BY (following HIN) and with the help of my buddy at Cosentino Hi-Lines, I went to pick up my new ride. Sorry there aren't more pics, but I've been too busy driving my new toy!

Here are a few from the "pick up" day last Thursday. I first met Mark at his shop. To my surprise, he had two Lambos sitting at his shop when I arrived... surely this was a good sign of things to come!

note: posting 10 pics... please let me get them all up before posting responses...

Wow! I just had the most vivid dream of heaven!

I'm sure that's what it was because usually when I dream of heaven it involves beavies of Playboy bunnies. In this one, there was only one feeling... sheer bliss as I sped along in a brand new Carrera GT!

Sorry, couldn't resist... this car was absolutely astounding!!!

I don't think I've seen a more impressive piece of automotive machinery... in person, I think it looks more impressive than the Enzo (yes, I've seen one of those too).

Only problem is they don't offer the Carerra GT in Brickyard... guess I'll have to wait for 2nd year to see if they change the color options.

Oops, I replied before your last note was finished.

It's always nice to dream.

Believe me, if I had the means, I'd have the GT

On the otherhand, I have been seriously looking at the Noble M12 which is within my realm of possibility. It would require parting with my Z and being put on a waiting list (a feeling I am familiar with from my Z preorder).

However, I have contacted a Noble importer and the prospect is there...

Basically, I would have to sacrifice some of my "fun" money I use to do all my extracurricular activity each month in favor of the additional toy car expense. It might be worth it...

i had the honor to start up a Carrera GT and rev the beast. It sounds better than the Enzo! The interior is the nicest i have ever seen. Its interior is even nicer than Bentley's and BMW's. The exterior is perfection and the engine is just so stunning that you just have to see it in person.
