Lol , I just recently started doing the 1,3,5 shift - and thought I had invented something! oh, well - it is so-o-o-o-o-o-o smo-o-o-o-o-th!! The way I do it - seems so much easier on the engine - like it was built for that.

I have a stock 2003 Track Z. On the high way with mostly straits and air con on cruising at 75-80mph I avg 27-31 mpg. That is what my computer was saying and also what I calculated after having to fill the tank after 6 hours. gallons used /miles traveled. When you say your Z is getting below 20 mpg high way, are you only going by what your computer is telling you or is that your real calculated mpg? If so, you better check to see your not leaving a trail of gas behind on the road. I find it hard to believe you are getting way worse fuel economy than lets say a Corvete Z06 with a V8 and over 415hp. Get that checked out man. Gas is to dam* expensive right now to be getting that kind of fuel economy. BEN
