Just wondering what everyone's avg MPG is around town. If not noted, please indicate perf mods.

 

Are you asking for average MPH, or MPG, I think you're asking for MPG. There have been quite a few threads on this topic, you'll find quite a few if you search. Check out this one though.

i average 22 in the city, exhaust, intake, test pipes, have reset it several times to make sure it wasn't off.

 

oh , and 29 hwy,

 

I get about 15-17 city and 20-23 hwy. Sucky but the rest of the car makes up for it.

 

i get 19-20city 27-28highway

 

good god guys you make me feel as if i am a grandma'ing this thing. i check mine quite frequently with fillups and i am averging right at 23 mph city. same as when i had my grand prix gtp.

 

I average 23 around town, 28 on trips. Stone stock roadster.

 

19.8 stock.

 

overall im averaging 22.5 mpg. i do mainly city driving with some highway

 

Damn why am I getting 19mpg half highway/half city? Sometimes I shortshift under 2000rpms or i'll do the 1-3-5 shift, still doesn't pull up the mpg. I guess it's the price to play.

backagain, do you remember your MPG before you put on the intake and exhaust?

 

i get 18mpg, how sorry is that! just about 50/50 on city/highway. I shift at 2-2.5 and sometimes 3rpm if i need to cut lanes or something. Highest gear in the city is 5th and highest is 6th in highway.

My mods are intake, exhuast, hi-flos but even with those mods on my gas has no dropped, its always been the same when it was stock too.

Anyone want to chime in why my car acts this way? Oh, i do live in a realitivly hilly city (sf, ca)

 

What the h...?? I get anywhere between 11 and 14 MPG. I know I drive hard, but still... Almost makes me think there is something wrong with my car.

 

Between 19-21 around town.

 

17.5 - 18 in city.... 24 on highway..but i dont drive much..otherwise it should be higher

 

23-24 mixed city/highway for me. yellow stealth. 11 mpg???? did you replace your engine with a HUMMER engine or something?

 

yeah i'm getting about 19 mpg city... hwy is around 21mpg. I think its pretty good for a 3.5 V6. My friend with an Evo is only getting 15mpg. and thats a 2.0 4-banger

for those who have lower mpg.. try resetting the counter. Mine was stuck at 14mpg one time until I resetted it and then it went up to 18mpg

 

12-16 city. i feel like my car has some issues.
I acc. a bit harder but thats about it.
i used to get 17-18 but not anymore...
