wow, i forgot i posted this!

thanks for the tips. i'm going to try to slide something in there to get it to stop. when i hear the rattle and i put even the slightest bit of pressure in the vents near the windshield (center), the rattle stops.

i DID have my dash apart for a stereo install. i have to mount my lcd tonight, so i'll peek around while i'm in there. will post my findings!

 

Check your rearview mirror. Hold it to see if the rattle goes away.
