I completely understand about the scraping. Here in Austin, the road designers seem to believe that all parking lot entrances need to have a huge dip. It is so ridiculous on some, that even going in at an angle on a stock height sedan, scraping is guaranteed. Not to mention some hideous parking lot speed bumps.

I agree with ya about the roads around Austin. Which color/pkg did you go with? I'm sure I'll see ya around town. We'll have to steer clear of the haters after we get our Z's.

I've got the aero pkg on my Z but I don't think I'll be in a situation where it will show its worth. I got my last 90' TT up to 154 mph before the limiter kicked in and spoiled my fun. I don't know if I'll do that to my 350Z.

i got the aero package kit for my touring model. it may be a bit understated as one of you mentioned but that's the reason why i like it. my philisophy is to keep the car nice and clean. pretentious but, yet, unpretentious. smooth and sleek. that's the way to go! no silly rice wings, stickers, or kits.

Being 36, I am biologically presupposed to agree with your statement. I'm sure most of the people on this forum who intend to buy a new Z are mature drivers (that doesn't mean slow). It would be a shame if the image that non-z owners have of the Z, is that it's just another rice car. The heritage of the Z is far different then the contemporary youthful exuberance of the Honda/Acura automobile. As such, I thing Z mods should be kept discrete and functional (again, that doesn't mean slow).
