Default Who's getting the aero package?

...or are you a purist?

I left it off my order, but now I'm thinking hard about it. I like that it's subtle...

Left it off for good reason....to subtle.... give me a little air under my wing and a good couple of inches on my ground effects. I would rather wait for an after market with a little "edge" not one with a fraction of an inch.

i also left it off. my commute every morning consists of several dips that are bound to take off the front chin spoiler in a snap.

i really dont have a choice, since it comes on the track...
the fact that I will have zero total lift, and not a bookshelf for a rear spoiler is good enough for me...

michael

ps, i dont understand the "purist" question... if it is a Nissan Stock part, and not Erebuni... how can it not be pure to put it on the ONLY car it fits!??!

I ordered it with my Touring 6MT, thought it looks good. I prefer factory vs after market... the color matches better

how could anyone let such beautiful a rear end as this have an ugly lip on it? It's a mortal sin!

Hey dvlad, which model did you order? Your signature says Touring/Performance, then it says "confirmed", what's going on there?
ahaha..thanks!

It's the Touring. For some reason i keep saying touring/perfor because it has the 6 spd.

Do you think it could be removed if someone decides that an aftermarket one looks better? Or will it most likely have screw holes in the wrong place, etc?

I love how the Z has that tiny little edge that comes up on the back of the hatch- a "suggestion" of a spoiler of sorts.. know what I mean?

I passed on the Aero package b/c I didn't want to cover that fantastic styling detail & I think the performance benefits from the aero package will be negligable.

90's tail fins...umm...I mean Spoilers are soooooooooo played out! This car is going to prove that a car can look good/agreessive without a piece of plastic tacked onto the hatch.

Well, yeah, I guess I don't get a choice on the track model.

Default Pre-ordered before aero pictures released

I pre-ordered my Z before Nissan released the pictures of the aero package on the website, so I went with the package. Of course, then the pictures on the website came out and didn't show a whole hell of a lot. But, I like the fact that it is subtle.
Although, as some have said, the rear has that little edge that doesn't really need anything added.

Either way, I am in love with this car and can't wait to drive it off the lot!

I left it off because it didn't really appeal to me. If NISMO comes out with a more attractive one then I might get it.

That's what I am thinking. The factory one is not really worth the money I think.. I rather wait for NISMO or others and make my decision. I will probably get hp modification before aero kits though.

Well well well.... I really do wish that the spoiler was a bit more defined but I also pre-ordered long before any pics of the aero package were released. I wasn't at all happy with it when I first saw the pics. I've accepted it and will one day learn to enjoy it's 'little' splendor. I don't think it will do much for the handling but I also wanted my car to look just a little bit different than everyone else’s here in Austin TX.

Just can't wait till week 1 of Aug. Bring on my PP/white, Tour/Perf/ Aero pkg. I've already got 6 cd's ready to load up and peel out from the dealership. Funky cold Madina......lol

Cool

It looks like an after thought, although it's growing on me.
I left it off and figured if I changed my mind, I could always
order one later..........
