Default VQ engine in GTR?

I am sorry if this is a repost but I was reading in an Australian review of the Z that:

The final word on Nissan's V6 engine? Brilliant. And get this: There is even talk that Nissan will take this 3.5-litre engine and bolt on a pair of turbochargers for use in new 350kW+ R35 GTR, set to hit the streets in 2005. Drool...

Again sorry if this is old/untrue news, just thought I would bring it up.

Here is the article:

It's now widely know that the GT-R will be out as a 2007 model, not 2005 as this article states, so I would question anything else from this source.

Also note that "Nissan's V6 engine" is not restricted to a "3.5-litre" variant. The Pathfinder already has a VQ40DE, and the rumour-mill is already saying the GT-R may have a lower-compression variant that may displace 3.2-litres.

There's a whole Forum dedicated to these types of GT-R rumours: R35 Skyline GT-R

Naw the 40 is a truck engine. I wanted to do part swaps but they are like all you get is more lower tq and less power up top. I hear they are going to use the VQ3.3 with twin turbos. The engine is going to be a cross between the VQ3.0 and the 3.5 and 4.0. Going to make great power all over and the engine is suppose to have quicker shifts and revs but rev limiter should be at aroud 8k.
