Hey Everyone,
I just got a mailer on the G35 coupe. It says its going to have 275+ horsepower. Isn't this claim higher than the Z's. I love the Z and I hate seeing a copy of it. What do yall think?

 

I just saw a billboard along the freeway and it said of the G35 coupe, "260 thoroughbreds". But whatever, they will advertize the Z @ at least 286 hp, that was my guess a while back.

 

G35 Sedan- 260 hp
G35 Sports Coupe- 275+hp*
350Z- 280+ hp*

There is no way that the G35 Coupe will have more hp than the 350Z. I'd be *very* surprised.

I have seen that billboard in Atlanta saying "260 thoroughbreds" but its for the sedan, not coupe. I am sure we will not see billboards for the G35c until its available.

 

yeah, it really doesn't make sense to have the G35 coupe so close to the Z in horsepower and marketing.

When the skyline comes out, i guess i have to sell my Z

 

Don't look at it that way! Every time you see G35c just say to yourself "That's a 2+2 350Z". They just accidentally sold it at the wrong dealership.

 

now if nissan makes a higher hp in the G35 coupe than the 350Z then that's just the same as slapping it's own mouth~

 

They are saying the G35c will have 275+. They said the 350Z would have 280+. My guess is it will be 5-10 hp less than the Z. It may be the same, but it won't be more.
