So I am parked in a parking lot downtown Detroit...My car has just been washed and polished with Zaino...I come out to the car and there is only sprinker on watering the grass near the car except this sprinker is aimed at my car and now my car has water spots all over it. Only one sprinker is on around the whole building and is it watering my car!!!
I was like WTF???
This is soo typical of Detroit.

I was driving down the road today and all the sprinklers that are supposed to be watering the median are pointing right into the road...I had the top down so I had to make a choice.
1. Stop...Put up the top...Continue...Put the top back down.
or 2. Turn around and take a 2 mile detour around the sprinklers.

I chose number 2 on that one.

 

Yeah, water sprinklers are annoying. It never fails, everytime I get my car spotless... the first time I go anywhere...there is a spinkler on somewhere shooting water everywhere. It makes me want to take out a 9 iron and go to town.....but then there would really be a mess if I did that

Sweet mother of god, If I was in the desert and I washed and waxed my car it would rain the next day. Never fails....

 

Actually, in my area we are on water restrictions right now. That means we are only allowed to water our lawns on tuesday and thursday between midnight and 5am. The city however is apparently allowed to water the road around 3 P.M.

You betcha!!! That's why our roads need to be re-paved...the sprinklers keep eroding them. Eroding!!!

The funny thing about the whole thing was that the city of Detroit is constantly crying about how they need mony to fix up the city...Well if you didn't shoot water at pple's cars for no reason, maybe you can fix a pothole or two....Just a thought.

 

I parked in the way back of a parking lot at a golf course i was playing at( to avoid the dings), and as I was walking to the clubhouse a frantic greenskeeper ran up to me and said something in broken english about agua and no park. So i moved my car right before this industrial sized sprinkler went off and soaked the area in the lot. That was nice of him, i had just washed the car as well.
