What speed and RPM are you shifiting into 6th gear??

 

Around 65mph i shift to sixth for gas mileage (when cruising), when wanting to go fast i shift to six when 5th runs out hehehe

The car will drive in 6th at just over 40 is you don't ask much of it other than cruising down the street.

 

Sometimes i shift into 6th at very low speeds (40 mph) if im cruising

 

yeah if I'm cruising down a straight road with no hills 40-50mph...no reason to waste gas

 

I shift into 6th at 33.0 mph, just like the manual says. That's why I lose every street race I get involved in.

 

Got to hand it to you...... I read the extensive, owners manual several times, but don't think I recall the shift speed recommendation. My brain probably skipped it each time. Not questioning it's not in there, just that my foot will not let me pull off the pedal as much as I should. With the Z, it's hard not to play a little, and I just can't seem to wipe this sh*t eating grin off my face. Anyone else with this problem?

 

i dont shift into 6th until 75mph....

 

50 mph i usually shift into 6th

 

i got the grin syndrome too.
