Poll...Who here is a previous Z owner ?

My third Z car. Nissan has got me for my third new Z car. (A ton of money for basic transportation)
1st Z car: 1983 280ZX Turbo. (I loved that car.)
2nd Z car: 1990 Z32 non turbo (I learned my lesson on turbos)
3rd z car: 2003 Touring Daytona Blue.
Each car has its unique looks and has been the best overall vehicle I have ever driven as a normal stock car. Speed, looks, drive-ability, cornering, and value. I never driven anything better stock.
Other cars owned:
Trans Am- wrapped it around a telehone pole.
Vette- fast but not a Z car, Too big!!
Mazada Rx 7-fun but poorly made
Mustang-where is the classic looks of the 60's models?
Custom Dune buggy-250 plus horses on a vechile weighing less that 1000 pounds. Turbo-charged (blew-up two turbos) Needed 70 lbs of lead in the front end to keep the front wheels only two feet off the gound from a drag start. After dialing it in it became one hell of a overall dune-er kind like the Z (one hell of a overall sports car)

This is my 5th Z. First was a '79280Zx then and '85 300zx that I drove 210K miles. Then and automatic 1984AE for about 3 years and I still own another 1984AE-manual that currently has less than 20K actual miles. It is in storage for the winter and comes out in the spring when I can leave the T-tops open for the season. I just took that car out to DEQ for new license yesteday and it is still a blast to drive and it attracts almost attention as my new SS Touring.
I guess I know a good thing. I borrowed at 74- 240 for a few months years ago and really enjoyed.
I drove the '90 when it came out and found it to be very hard riding, particularly compared to my wonderful, fantastic, exciting, eye-catching new Z.

Just keep on Z'n.. Jumpin for Joy!

I had an 86 300ZX NA. It had all the options, except digital dash and was 5-speed. It had 243,000+ miles on it when I totalled it! I still kick myself for that! I'm looking forward to getting the Z33 in a few years, though. If it has t-tops then that would be awesome!!

I almost bought a black 300ZX when I started college, but ended up getting a great deal for a new Camaro SS so now I'm back to the Z. Kinda funny how the car I got back then is now discontinued and the car I'm getting now was discontinued back then!!!

got a '72 240 and restored it in high school. still have it (turning 30 today...), albeit sitting in my parents' garage right now. (no, I don't still live with my parents)
have a '92 NA coupe which I'll be selling to a worthy recipient when I take delivery of my '03. Soon. Please?
All have been/will be blue.
