heya, i want to get some of you "authority types" opinion
I was thinkin bout POSSIBLY gettin just the roof section painted black as i have seen a few black top tallons with similar paint scheeme and really liked it.

what do you think of a similar look for my Z?
maby the whole roof/ hatchback section black?

mine is chrome silver, dark tint,
pk6 wheels (dark/polished lip)
possibly smoked tails too

instead of painting you should replace it with carbon fiber.

 

Don't the new scions have that? Or is that glass on them? Hmmm i dunno if i would like it only b/c the z is such a low car u would see a lot of it and it might look funny. Do a photoshop. Also i think carbon fiber might be dangerous as it might hurt the rigidity of the body.....

 

i dont know about the scions, but CF would look good but would probably cost too much and i wouldnt actually use just that cause id never cut out my roof for fibre

Not sure where you would stop the black paint. I think it would look strange if the hatch was left silver, and even stranger if it was black also. I think PS is your best bet to see what really works, or get a tamiya model and paint it various ways to see what looks good to you.

The lines of the Zzzz in back "flow" down from the roof into the rear fenders so different colors would look, imho (yeah, right), HORRENDOUSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.

Did I mention I think this is a really bad idea?

 

ok point taken... i just got a new stillen type 1 spoiler and i decided to keep it all silver thanx guys for imput

 

it would look hawt! getting it overlayed in CF isn't really that expensive.

hmm carbof fiber? no doubt that would look nice BUt would clash with my otherwise ALL silver car
it was expensive for a stick-on spoiler (2 sided tape)
