Question Paris Auto Show Pics include '05?

I'm pretty sure these are brand freakin' new... notice the audio controls on the steering weel and the leather shifter... Wow.. looks nice. But these were released September 10th!!!

Go here for all the pics: Paris '05

Tell me I'm nuts! Is this just a European model?

well its definitely a european model, look at the speedo.. its in km/h. i'm guessing the audio controls on the steering wheel is an '05 thing because i've never seen it. plus the keyfob is different. its not that uncommon for car shows to have cars before they are released though

The extra accenting is kinda cool. Not on the brake handle though.

Thumbs up

Also look closer to the High Res Steering Wheel shot... not only the audio controls, but also phone and Voice Recognition contols. Possibly Blue Tooth too then? That would be awesome!!! Then I could answer my phone without leaving the wheel!!!

Anyone with a new '05 have these controls? I'm wondering if it's just the January '05 models then (Track) or just European models...

I don't think it is just the January model because the redline isn't 7k.

So can you order the steering wheel with the Audio controlls aftermarket for US cars?

I highly doubt we will see those controls for 05. This is indeed the euro model which has been out for a while. I saw the same exact photos on another web site a while ago.

I looks like the redline is at 6600 just like ours. I am diggin' the shifter **** and the steering wheel. I wonder if you can get that in the frost leather. I am thinking that would look sweet in the silver editions in the cars with some custom seats!!

Darn... Now all I can hope for is the January '05 model to have it... but I doubt it will. I wish I could get that aftermarket. With airbag regulations I doubt that will happen though.

Well, looks like a usual european model to me.
I'm from Germany for example, the weel controls and the shifter look like that since the beginning in 2003.
