Default 3500 miles = first rattle sound

I just hit 3500 miles and now I have my first rattle sound. It is very consistent - i.e. all the time. It is coming from some where in the door just behind my left ear. I find if I push slightly out on the window it goes away. It is not a knocking sound but more like a buzzing type sound.

Any ideas? Anyone with a similar rattle?

Yeah, that buzzzz just showed up on mine. (3.4K miles) No idea what it is or how to fix. Going to try some 303 Aerospace on the window seals when she gets back from the shop. It's just loud enough to be annoying.

I would take it back to the dealer and make them fix it before trying to fix it myself.

Thanks for the suggestion; it is a reasonable one. My experience with the local Nissan dealership leads me to believe they would be more apt at lawnmower repair. Hopefully others have more positive results.

303 did nothing to help, the noise occurs even with the window partially down.

I am going to take mine to the dealer in the next couple weeks - I'll let you know how it turns out.

I am going to have them look at the gas cover - half the time when I push the button it does not open...

Good luck...let me know what they discover.

Jab that fuel door button three times and it'll open up. At least that's what works for me.

No doubt - I got the same thing too. You can hear it also when you close the door. Sounds like something is loose in there. Please post your outcome!

Thanks
