Referring to this part, the G35 does have a much nicer ignition. It's not even on the steering wheel part. The G35c is an overall better deal. It comes with everything the Z does, and some nice little touches for about the same price.

On the Nissan Almera from Mexico the Keyfob is built into the key. If you could just get the chip out of your key and put in the Almera key you would be set.

Man, you're absolutely right!! How did I never see this glaring design flaw??? First thing tomorrow morning, I'm going in to my dealership and trading this POS in. Great performance and looks are fine and all, but I look for a sexy ignition in my cars. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Did anyone else go to their car just to look at it? I never even bothered looking before. Looks fine to me.

Wow dating forum :P hehe

No but seriously, the only time i look at an ignition, is when i clean the inside of a car, because then you come close to that area, but i never really "needed" to see where the key had to go or something, well maybe... cuz i dont even own a Z yet, and it will take some getting used to

That's what I was wondering, I wonder if you could swap out the G35 ignition...if it's that big of a deal to him.

Good for you! I'm glad someone finally decided that enough is enough! Tire feathering, bad rear axles, cheapy interior...nobody cares about those things enough to trade in their car. BUT...the ignition looking ugly!?!? That's a HUGE problem!!! We might need to declare a National State of Emergency for this one!

I dont see what the big deal is... I just glued some hair around it.. it covers up that ugly metal... and gives me practice for when I get home.
