I can't find my list, but I've owned ..........12? others.
My soon to arrive Z WILL be the best!
When my Z arrives it will be my 3rd or 4th sports car depending if you count my old 70-1/2 Camaro RS I had while in College :-)
Previously drove a 1987 RX-7 for 9 years and currently have a '95 Miata M-Edition as my fun car. It has been a while since I have owned a sports car with any amount of power to speak off. Really looking forward to driving a powerful rear-wheel drive sports car again.

Yup...there seems to be quite the broad definition of sports car at work in this thread. I realize everyone's definition is different, and quite subjective...but I had never heard of anyone considering a Prelude, an Integra, or a Celica a sports car before. Although, wasn't there a year the Celica was a Celica/Supra? Like in '83 or '84? Anyway, I like each of them...but never considered them real sports cars...so what does everyone think defines "sports car"? A certain 0-60...maybe progressively getting faster for any given year? Or a certain quarter mile? Or maybe a certain slalom time? Or stock hp?
I don't even know exactly how I define it...but never even considered a Mustang or a Camaro a sports car...to me they fell into a catagory of "muscle car".
Since everyone has their own opinions....I'd be curious what car each of you feel is a sports car...but is "borderline"? For me, without going into great detail, the Audi TT would be my borderline car. (let me qualify this by stating I'm not looking to get anyone defensive or start a discussion that goes nowhere...I just thought it may be interesting to hear other's opinions and maybe why) FYI I almost bought one...so I'm not stating I don't like them.
