Anyones first sports car?
its mine, I had a dodge Ram and a BMW 318i. while the bmw was nimble, it had only 139hp, less than half of the Z.
it blows me away how tight the ride in the Z is. its indredable, it feels like you could do almost anything in it. though I know thats not totally true, its such a massive change to have such performance.
anyone else in the same boat?

Yup, first "true" sports car for me! Had a 96 Prelude Si, it was a pretty good "sports coupe"; then a 01 Acura CL-S, a pretty darn good grand touring car after some modifications were done. But the Z, now this is something else!

Yes, my first, true, performance sports car. The first car I ever owned years ago was a Fiat 850 Spider. It was a very tiny, two seater, 4 cylinder convertible. I guess a sports car in the broadest sense of the word, but it was more like a miniature, circus clown car now that I think back to it.

Its my first true performance car as well. I have owned a '96 Ford Probe GT but nothing on the level of this type of performance. Only a couple more weeks.... can't wait.

I had an '88 Mazda RX-7, and it was real fun....not a LOT of geddy up, but enough. Talked my friend into buying a '90 Turbo RX-7, and thought that was just the ****. So I'm way overdue for a true sports car and am looking so forward to delivery in a week or two. Won't be as nice as another buddies 348 Ferrarri, but it didn't cost me as much as a house either!

The first one I have ever owned. I spent a lot of time driving my best friends '78 RX-7 (wow that makes me feel/sound old) in high school, but it's not the same as bringing it home every night.

This will be my third, maybe fourth if you count the clunker I'm driving now (actually it spends more time in the shop than it does on the road).
1980 Corvette w/ a 383 stroker (I know it's muscle, but it handled great after a ton of work)
1998 Camaro SS
And the maybe is my 840ci--yes it is a clunker-- I just got it back last Friday only to give it back to the shop the very next morning!
The rest of my vehicles have been trucks, and I can't wait to get another one for my daily driver and turn my Z into a ***** on wheels!!!!!

81' Benzo 300-Turbo D (OHHH TURBO!)
94 300ZX 2+2
93 300ZX TT
88 IROC Z28 5.7
03 350Z!!!!
So, the 2 previous Z's were sports cars, and like 12 years ago the IROC was a sports car, (and still fast as hell, 330 lbs/ft torque can do that.) But nothing beats the Z33, ok the Z32 TT comes close though.,
