Default Stupid people

Sometimes I wonder if people are out to get me in my Z... I swear ever since I got it im playing dodgeball with 3800 pounds of steal.

1st incident.
Not even 1 mile off the dealer lot and im making a left turn at a light (with the green arrow) and some woman (no offence) almost T-Bones me when she is trying to make a right hand turn comming from the other direction.

2nd Incident.
~750 Miles while making a right at a (green light) the person comming the other direction (w/o green arrow) decides that he can race through the light and nearly T-Bone me (luckily I floored it).

3rd Incident.
~ 2500 Miles, some idiot in La traffic in a
mustang decides to tailgate me when were only able to do 40MPH on the freeway. The cars in front of me stop and this guy has to swerve into the emergency lane to avoid hitting me cause he didn't notice the people stopping for the past 5 seconds.

4th Incident:
~ 3000 Miles (Yesterday). Pulling out of a parking spot some lady in a suv who is parked facing me decides to pull out while I am stopped IN FRONT OF HER!. Comes within 1 foot of my car, i was stuck untill she backed up so I could reverse some more.

I wish people would pay just a 1/2 second more attention to what thier doing on the road then whatever thier doing elsewhere. THe last thing I want is to deal with the insurance company. They already get enough of my money.

Ok im done ranting,.

Just be cautious, and always drive in the state of mind that Every Other driver on the road is a moron. Works for me.

I guess we cant have Smart people without the opposite.

I've had 6 accidents with 3 different vehicles, all of them were the other drivers' fault. I'm starting to get a complex!

Stuff like this happens to me so often that I stopped counting. Something happens everyday and I am not an agressive driver. Just like Ace said, you need a speacial state of mind to deal with this crap. I do blame the system though, I wish getting the license was as hard as in Europe, then most people would at least know how do drive safely.

and stillen slotted rotors and hawk pads for the rear. Any reviews?

thats the understatement of the year. Cali drivers are f'in idiots, what I do is I'll try to drive next to or infront of cars/people that i think have insurance. If anything does happen I hope they have insurance vs driving next to a POS with an equal POS behind the wheel and when they hit you, you are SOL and they have no insurance.

Oh yea forgot too add, it seems like close indidents only happen when I'm driving my Z or a car I care about but when I'm driving my POS daily driver nothing close ever happens.

I think Cali drivers and Vancouver drivers are pretty much the same.
Cell phone in one hand, Starbucks in the other. Has no one heard of speaker phone or a headset?

You dont have to have car insurance in California?!

I've been driving for 40 years. I've had 3 accidents, all in the first five years. Most accidents are avoidable, regardless of who would have been at fault. The trick is to drive as if *everyone* is out to get you. Watch everyone, always have a plan if they do the stupidest thing possible. Always leave yourself an out. Having a quick agile car with great brakes is a huge advantage, but only if you are alert enough to use those advantages when the time comes, as it will again and again.
