Where are the Z's back east????
I was back east with my girlfriend for two weeks. I am from long island so we were there for a week. We also spent a few days in Manhattan, then we went up to Boston for two days then to Portland Maine for another two days. Then back to long island for a day then back home here to sunny San Diego.
While we were back east we saw a TOTAL of 2 Z's and 1 G!
lots of inifinity FX's but only the 2 z's and 1 g!!!!
are they just not there? i figured that there would be more than out west because there are more people but that is just not the case. i see them here all day long but not back east.
and you cannot use the weather as an excuse either, it was 70's and sunny the whole time we were there, not a drop of rain.
so, anyone have any comments?????

I live in a hick town but ive seen maybe 5 Zs since they came out other than whats on the nissan lot.
They dont sell very well when dealers ask 3000 dollars over msrp for them.
They are rare around here!

All Bark, where on Long Island were you? I live in Nassau County and commute to Suffolk everyday for work. I see on average 1-2 Z's per week, at least 10-20 G's a week on the road.

It might have something to do with the weather and snow. A lot of people can't afford a summer sports car and a winter AWD car, so they opt for a combination of the two - probably the reason why you saw so many Infinity FXs. You may have also noticed a ton of Porsche Cayennes and Audi Allroads as they are a similar compromise and quite prevalent.
I probably see at least one Z/Gc, on average, every day. Of course as winter draws closer, it ends up being maybe one every 2-3 days. I guess it's kind of nice that we aren't overpopulated with them.

In Massachusetts: I've seen 1 other besides myself in the past 2 weeks.
It was stock - so am I!
Btw - my Z is my AWD car... guess we'll see how this works out in the coming months
As someone else said, you can't shake a stick without hitting an Audi or BMW.

dont know if ohio classifies as east enough for ya but i know that every day i see 3-5 Z's and an absolute crap load of G35's. Seems like the G35 sold real well here, and the Z's are becomming more prevalent. I think it has a lot to do with the dealers asking over MSRP. This area of the country is just not going to do that. Now that you can walk into a dealer, and actually haggle over the price of the Z, brand new, people are starting to buy them.

Wow, yeah, here in San Diego, you can't drive a mile without seeing a G or a Z. Whenever I travel to the east coast, I hardly see any of either.
350Z's don't even get a second glance out here. Doesn't bother me any...I'd rather not have people drooling all over my car!
