Default is anybody else upset that nissan charges us to make our payments online!!!!

is anybody else annoyed that nissan charges us extra to make our car payments online????? most companies encourage this, even giving a discount if you pay online. when i had a BMW loan i was able to pay online for free. thats how it should be. nissan charges $5 for credit card and $15 for online check. i know its free to mail it in. but i don't use checks anymore. everything is electronic. anybody else as bothered by this as me. $5 a month over 6 years is $360 extra dollars over the car price. and $15 over 6 years is $1080. thats robbery. for some people that might not be much...but its just the point of it all. we all try our best to get the car from the dealer as much off MSRP as possible. at the time every dollar seems to count. now they just slap a payment charge on us (we get a charge for MAKING the payment). sorry but thats bullsh*$. i called and complained, the nissan guy said that the charge goes to the online payment company. i explained to him that if BMW and a few other car companies can do it for free nissan should extend that to their customers as well. its not the end of the world and won't break anyones bank, but i feel it is a service nissan should be happy to extend to its customers free of charge.

That is total crap! If my cable bill and telephone bill can be paid online for free (and be given incentives to do it), then so should a car payment!! Look how much time you are saving them by eleminating the paperwork and look how quickly they get their payments!

That is BS,

I wanted to store my Z last year and my Maxima and the year before during the winter time. I wanted to drop the insurance to just fire/theft.

Bank says no, its their car. I paid both cars off the next day.

Screw the bank and screw the $ they could have made off me. I saved over $3500 by paying my loans off.

I get the amount automatically taken out of my account at the end of each month, but I purchased my car with cash through my credit union.

Default Online Payment Charges

Why dont you try using Partrust? It only costs me 11.00 for all of payments and they will send out checks so you can avoid the Nissan charges.
Besides, I have cut my weekly bill-paying time from four hours per week to about ten minutes a week...
