Default torn between colors

I am very much leaning towards changing from Lemans to Silverstone on my track. I'm just not sure if the orange is too wild for me or not, but everyone is getting silvers. At least, according to brackethead, only 14% of track models are silverstone.

Am I being too conservative for a 37 yo married man?

Default A Navy guy too conservative?

Never. Stick with one of the silvers. I remember going with the darker green on the 300Z and now you don't even see it optioned anymore with just about any car. The silver is a classic in whichever shade you pick and will last past your short term daring.

Default How'd you know about the navy guy?

Do we know each other?

Anyway, I called my dealer to change and he had an order number for me with a september delivery! He said he was calling the order desk on monday and would see if he could change it. However, I kept looking at Vandy's pics, which are my screensaver, and just emailed him to keep it Lemans.

Thanks for all the input though!

Nope, don't know each other and didn't mean to spook you. I saw your pic of the 130 with VX-1 in the occupation post last week.

I do wish I were closer to your shoes right now though. I am an instructor here in Corpus Christi who thought that I would be getting out in six months for the majors. I just picked up a TAR transition and will be staying here for another two years at least while I wait for the skies to open back up.

Talking

2003z,

Kudos to you for sticking with your original pick. If you did change, you'd always be asking yourself "should I have stuck with my first choice?", ya know what I mean? I wouldn't be able to sleep at night - not that I can now.......

I was torn between Brickyard and Daytona, and I chose Brickyard because I knew there would be more Daytonas out there.

I have a good feeling you're gonna love your LeMans Sunset when you see it!
