torn between colors
I am very much leaning towards changing from Lemans to Silverstone on my track. I'm just not sure if the orange is too wild for me or not, but everyone is getting silvers. At least, according to brackethead, only 14% of track models are silverstone.
Am I being too conservative for a 37 yo married man?

I was talking to an NNA guy (Tom) in Buena Park yesterday about colors. Before I had even mentioned what I ordered, he told me "You know, the most beautiful color is the darker shade of silver", as he motioned toward the Chrome Touring. That made be soooo happy that I didn't have to solicit that info!
He was convinced that hands-down Silverstone is THE color. Now, we all have our preferences, but that should make the Silverstone bunch feel very comfy with their choice...
Oh by the way, his second favorite was sitting right there in front of us. Daytona Blue...

Shhh...we need to keep that a secret. Right now Chrome Silver makes up 50% of sales...we don't want people picking the Silverstone aka Chick Magnet Gray.
Seriously though, all the colors are great. 2003z, it is a tough decision, but if you are on the fence...it might be a better idea to go witha neutral color...it's always hard to say..all it takes is a few nice words about your Z and you will love whatever color it is. Honestly, you strike me as a brickyard kind of guy...but damn that color would be hard to maintain.

Never. Stick with one of the silvers. I remember going with the darker green on the 300Z and now you don't even see it optioned anymore with just about any car. The silver is a classic in whichever shade you pick and will last past your short term daring.

Do we know each other?
Anyway, I called my dealer to change and he had an order number for me with a september delivery! He said he was calling the order desk on monday and would see if he could change it. However, I kept looking at Vandy's pics, which are my screensaver, and just emailed him to keep it Lemans.
Thanks for all the input though!

Nope, don't know each other and didn't mean to spook you. I saw your pic of the 130 with VX-1 in the occupation post last week.
I do wish I were closer to your shoes right now though. I am an instructor here in Corpus Christi who thought that I would be getting out in six months for the majors. I just picked up a TAR transition and will be staying here for another two years at least while I wait for the skies to open back up.

2003z,
Kudos to you for sticking with your original pick. If you did change, you'd always be asking yourself "should I have stuck with my first choice?", ya know what I mean? I wouldn't be able to sleep at night - not that I can now.......
I was torn between Brickyard and Daytona, and I chose Brickyard because I knew there would be more Daytonas out there.
I have a good feeling you're gonna love your LeMans Sunset when you see it!
