Z Story to share
Hey all.
Just wanted to post a couple of stories since I just got my Z on Wednesday night.
Thursday was a lost day for the office. Spent half the day showing the car to everyone and taking a couple of rides. Went to see a client (who loved it) and got all kinds of attention on the road.
I drove to Atlanta and back (Spartanburg, SC) on Sunday to show it to my family and to see my father. It was his birthday Saturday, so he got a nice present - and he got to see my Z and my new girlfriend. I told him that he could keep his present, but the other 2 "new" things were mine. Let him drive the car and he just had a big grin on his face.
As I was passing through Atlanta (I-85), I got all kinds of attention on the road. I know there are more Zs down there, but people were gawking all along the highway.
I had people lurking behind, missing their exits, and doing some crazy things just to see the Z. A few cars that I had passed gunned it to catch up to me and give me the thumbs up. Everybody was staring.
Of course, I had some of the rice boys and other folks doing "fly-bys" and acting like fools. I just laughed them off.
This car is amazing. It is like a car show everywhere I go. Can't wait for the break-in to be complete. I've got 800 miles on her (in basically 4 days).
Sorry to post some of the repetitive stories, but it is my turn. It was torture (in a good way
) reading about everyone else's cars before mine got here. So now I'm just spreading the joy.

Glad to hear about your experience Doug!
I can't wait to get mine, but it will probably be at least another couple of weeks. Hopefully they won't be so common by then and I'll get to enjoy some of those same kind of moments.
I saw my first Z "in the wild" this weekend heading down I-20 toward Augusta, GA. I got excited and sad all at the same time.
I want my Z!!!!
