Same, but the opposite happened, though I went in with the intention of buying blue (not any of the 800 silvers they offered).

I couldn't decide either. I almost pulled the trigger on an 05 Touring Silver Stone with burnt orange interior. But when I was at the dealer two silvers drove by. That's almost all you see in my neck of the woods. So Cal.
So I decided upon a Black Touring with burnt orange seats. All the blacks that I have seen have charcoal seats.
I know the color will be a B. to take care of, but so it goes. There was one black one on the lot w/ b. orange seats. Looked great. But it was an auto, so had to order the 6 speed. Should hit my garage about mid December. Dealer could only find a 6 speed in AZ. He didn't want to spring for the extra $500 shipping.

Frst, I'll loose those OEM wheels (probaly buy Nismo, or SSR Comp-H anthracite, and then add light tint.
The SSR wheels have darker spokes and the rims are polished. Should look great on a black car. Kind of understated looking. But the Nismo are Nissan approved.
See now I can't decide on the wheels. I don't want to change the tires. It will may a problem. Tires and wheels add about $3,600, and then I have to toss out the factory wheels and tires for about $700+-
Good luck with your choice of colors

I went with Chrome Silver since Silverstone reminded me of a "geezer" color. It is pretty plain and reminds me of a dark coat of primer. Just IMHO

Like the car wasn't offered in beige, so that was choice #2

It's a joke folks, simmer down now. I wish I could post the picture of the two side by side, however if you look at the pictures people have in the gallery, you'll see it's pretty close. With the CF I'd go with the less contrasty one of the two, that being SS.

- I want to set it up with all the NISMO S-Tune & R-Tune parts.
Check this photos, I believe this is a Chrome Silver:

I have the CS and it's ok. it's a boring color and probably the most common color for the Z EXCEPT when the car is clean and under the sun. the CS will blind you and you will be happy that you got blinded haha.

I really like the white the Zs come in. But my car before the Z was a white so i didnt want to do the white again.

Default My heart is with Silverstone, but...

Now the (slightly-used) '03 Track I found was Chrome Silver, but...

...my heart was with Silverstone. Grey is my favorite vehicle color. My '00 Aprilia Mille sportbike is black/silver/grey...just gorgeous!

HOWEVER...here in New Mexico, we have this "relentless" sunshine, and lighter colors do a little better, so I've rationalized my lack of Silverstone.

But...if my Fairlady had been Silverstone I think I'd be a little happier! But I'm still pretty happy...

A bright silver like Chrome Silver is timeless, its a stately color that shows off the Z's bodylines, especially at night like no other.

I went to the dealer to buy Chrome Silver, parked them next to each other, left with Silver Stone!

I originally ordered a Silverstone, but after seeing both, side by side in the sun light & on a cloudy day, Chrome Silver was the true winner for me. The Chrome Silver doesn't show dirt as bad, plus it changes shades of Silver in different types of light. I love it!
