I saw a Z yesterday with what appeared to be a black plastic box located on the roof near where the roof meets the window. I assume it is the receiver for the Sirrus radio. If so, I think it detracts from the roof line. Too bad it could not be located somewhere less visible.

 

You mean the rear windshield wiper sprayer thingy?

 

its located forward of the spray thing, and is much bigger, maybe 2X4".

yea i have seen that also. Looks horrible.

 

why dont they mount it inside on the strut bar? does the glass really affect the signal that much?

 

tint also causes problems. but a lot of people, from what I have seen, mount in front of the three dash pods in the front window.

This is where I put mine. It works (most of the time )

Put mine on rear strut bar and it works fine. Do not have tint.

 

It's a dealer add-on.
