Default Advice Needed: 235/45/18 front 255/45/18 rear SNOW TIRES

Alright, like the title says, I have a good deal on a set of Blizzak LM-22s in the following sizes:

235/45/18 front
255/45/18 rear

Well I used the tire calc and it seems to keep the staggered ratio, but do you think there will be any issues?

Ideally I wanted to run 225/245 front/rear so these tires will be 0.40" wider... is this going to be an issue in winter?

Any other issues? Will it fit in the wheel well? This will also give me a little higher ground clearance which I think should be a plus, right?

Tire Size.............Side Wall Height.....Tire Diameter
225/45-18.............101.25.mm.............659.7mm
235/45-18.............105.75.mm.............668.7mm

245/45-18.............110.25mm..............677.7mm
255/45-18.............114.75mm..............686.7mm

Not sure if the fitments will work, but I can tell you that in the snow, narrower tires are more effective than wider ones. They dig into the snow more easily.

I agree with Celtic. I'm sure your tires would work fine, but narrower is better in the snow. Regardless, as long as the extra diameter fits, then I'm sure you'll be fine.

I'm assuming it fits. It's only 3/8" inches larger in diameter, which is nothing in terms of radius... besides I am buying it from a former 350Z owner who had it on last season... alright thanks for the input..
