Good News: 350Z Really Holds Its Value !!!
I bought my '03 Track model with NAV in March 2003, when dealers were still asking for markups. I paid MSRP, which was $37,000. Twenty months and 19,000+ miles later, my insurance company paid off the total loss, and gave me (and the leasing co.) $34,500 for the car!!!

Nice! Thinking of selling mine soon although I doubt I'll get anywhere near that price. How's the EVO RS treating you? I drove Roadrace Engineerings EVO race car the other day and I think I may have found a new religion. Hope you can bring that thing out to Buttonwillow Nov. 13-14 for the next NASA event.

Sometimes insurance co pay out well, take the money and run!
I got a lot more for my SER that was totaled than I ever expected about 10 years ago.

I got the JIC suspension (coil overs and rear swaybar) tuned by John Mueller of Road Race Engineering in my EVO RS yesterday. I will be at Sears Point on Nov. 14 with TrackMasters-Racing, and at Thunderhill with SpeedVentures on Nov. 27 & 28.
This is the second time since 1992 that I have totalled a car, and my insurance co. paid me WAY MORE than I honestly thought it was worth. Life is good.
You 350Z guys - your cars are beautiful, and your g/f likes it. But if you wanna haul azz around a road course, get an EVO.

That's funny. John was just in our office yesterday tuning the suspension on a couple of our show cars. That man knows his stuff and that JIC kit they do is amazing!
I PM'ed about some info on the NASA event I mentioned but your inbox is full. Anyway, when you empty it, write me back and I'll give you the info. The website is: nasaproracing.com

I joined NASA and signed up for Buttonwillow Nov. 13 & 14. Will be there driving HPDE3 in my EVO RS w/ Mueller suspension, otherwise bone stock. See you there!
