Default SCCA Solo II Classification

I've looked all around and kind find a definitive answer to this question:

What class will the 350Z be placed in for SCCA Solo II?

I know some of the guys that have raced have been placed, in SS, AS, and BS. But all of them stated "They didn't know where to put me, so..."

Has anyone seen a real position yet from SCCA? I'm thinking AS is the most likely candidate. Here are some cars in the classes:

SS: 02+ M3, 97+ Corvette, 99+ 911
AS: NSX, 95-98 911, 93+ Supra Turbo
BS: S2000, 90+ 300ZX-TT, 91+ MR2 Turbo

The reason I'm asking is that I want to buy my sticker set for the 2003 season, and I don't really want to buy stickers for all three classes.

Default Me too!

I hope its B Stock too. B Stock usually has more entries. Wherease I've been to several autocrosses where there were no AS cars at all. I'd rather race in a class where there's competition, rather than pretend I'm the best simply because I'm the only.

Nothing has been written yet, but expect some sort of official classing soon. The place to check will be here:

http://www.scca.org/news/tech/seb/index.html

Currently, they're deciding on the SS/AS/BS mix, which could move the "slower" SS cars (Boxster S, E46 M3) to AS and/or the "faster" BS cars (S2K, Boxster) to AS. Then they have to figure out where the 350Z and RX-8 fit in.

They posted an updated Fastrack, but it's not listed in the main page. Link here: http://www.scca.org/news/fastrack/02-12.pdf

It looks like it's in BS. The only other debate is how the rest of the SS/AS/BS juggling falls into place. They listed the recommendations of the Stock Advisory Committee (SAC) and Solo Events Board (SEB), so now it's up to the Board of Directors (BOD) to make a final decision.
