Well its not tough, but you need alot of pressure to puch it unlike most cars which are much easier. Is this a problem im having? Or am i the only one who has it. If everyone does have it, is it bothering you? Can we do anything about it? Maybe its just another one of the problems my car has........

My clutch pedal is VERY EASY to operate. The mecanism in the Z is one of the softest clutch pedals I'v ever had. If yours is hard to press, I would suggest you take it to your dealer and have it checked out. If it checks out OK, then you need to go vist LA Fitness and get in shape.

That's probably related to the transmission troubles you've described before, Slexis (at least I think it was you, sorry if not). You might have the maladjusted clutch problem that Abyss had. Are you having the dealer look at it?
The clutch in the Z I sat in a few days ago was pretty easy to disengage. My VR-4 had a pretty tough clutch and took much more pressure to press down.

i think you may want to take it to the dealer to look at it. my clutch is very smooth and easy to operate too, i think its even better than my friend's audi A4 manual.
if you like maybe we can meet sometimes and you can try it on my car see if there is alot of difference.

I had an upgraded clutch in my Camaro SS. Now that sucker gave me a leg work out! Along with the 68 Nova I learned to drive a standard in, I've never come across anything as tough as those two.
I guess I'll find out when I finally get mine, though!

If you are comparing to a Honda Civic clutch, then this one might feel heavy. For a sports car, it is rather an easy clutch. The first time a drove a Corvette, I thought I was going to need 2 feet to keep the clutch down. You may want to have someone with some manual tranny experience give you an opinion, or take it to the dealer to be looked at.
Good Luck!

It can't be worse than my '84 Accord's clutch pedal!
It takes 40lbs of pressure to depress it.
I never bothered to get it checked out, and became used to it.
The only problem is that my left leg is now bigger than my right.
The clutch itself works fine...

I dunno, my clutch is pretty light. It's not as soft as say, my 96 Accord, but it's easy to modulate. Almost too easy.
Compare it to say, a Boxster S, and you'll see why those drivers have big left legs. That clutch is STIFF.

No complaints here. It's definitely stiffer than the clutch in my 98 Pathfinder, but then again, it IS a sports car. (What did you expect?)

My friend just had a seriously upgraded over-powered ACT clutch installed along with a 11.8 pound flywheel on his 98 impreza rs. You want to talk about something thats hard to depresss, I've seriously had more of a left leg workout on his clutch than I have had in the gym. That thing is ridiculous.
