So... bringing this up again, 2005 Auto
Does anyone know if the rev-matching on the new Auto is just a ECU flash or something that can easily be put into a pre-2005 tranny?

I wouldn't do it.. there is another thread where I talked about my experiences with this new auto when compared to my original 2003 Z...
As a hint of the details, on the 2005 tapping twice from 4th to engage 2nd is approximately 3-4 seconds. On the 03, this was very quick.

That sounded like I was being a di*k and was arguing what Mike said. I meant "funny that Mike noticed that when it should be an improvement if thats what they went with for the '05s
