Default anybody run turbo?

Ok, so my friend has the greddy TT on his Z. we were fooling around with the boost controller and so on a week ago...running on the dyno off and on at a friends shop...So, i asked him a question...what did it pull stock To the wheels..? He tells me he never ran it on the dyno stock. I was wicked curious to know, so i suggested him to unbolt and run it on the dyno- we made some guesses as to what we thought numbers would be...i was guessing 240-250 to the wheels- he guessed the same. So there was no conflict Anyways...we unbolted the parts together....few hours later we run the dyno and numbers say 210!! What a freaking disappointment...is it possible he lost hp just FROM running the twin turbo setup??? It makes u think twice about getting a turbo setup. made me kind of sad tooo...anyway..i didnt run my car cuz its in the shop getting some things done-i was kinda curious as to what my numbers were also-any of u guys run turbo and unbolt it and see hp loss?? Let me hear about your story...

Stocks Zs dyno between 230-245...

Sounds like his engine is starting to break down, and loose compression... Might want to do a compression check on the motor.

However... how did you just "unbolt" the turbo??? Disconnecting the main pipe? If so, you're having it suck in NA, but the exhaust is still being restricted by having to still turn those twin turbines. That itself could cause a drop in power. Tell us more about this test...

nooo...we took apart the whole turbo kit and put back the stock headers, etc...And yeah we guessed around 240-250 with all the stock parts back on, only thing we didnt remove was the aftermarket fuel pump. How much do you think itll be to fix this problem if it is losing compression? Hes sort of low on cash-because like most of us hes gone mod crazy and every chance he gets he buys parts for his z...Anyways as far as i know- Turbo'd vehicles are more prone to break down easier hence the term FORCED induction..i wish there was something to help this problem with these turbo setups...
