problems with them? well feel free to PM me with any questions you have, I bought mine 4 days ago off the lot for MSRP, and I have nothing but good things to say. they werent pushy, every person I dealt with from start to finish was REALLY nice. they even put on a football game that I really wanted to see but was missing.

and now I get cookies. I can give you the sales mans name if youd like, he was a younger guy, not an old greasy man. and he never pushed the sale on us, let us look at it, was very well informed.

owell, good luck. see I heard sutherland was jacking up their prices, I remember someone posting a red Z that had a sticker of 2003 nissan ? and with all their "extra" stuff like Z glass etching, the price was a few thousand over MSRP.

Michael... I believe that everyone above you posted how they felt.. I dont see anywhere where someone said.. take him for his house or livelyhood.. FAIR RECOMPENSE OF LOSS... plus damages for possible further pain and suffering..

To this day my Wife is still having pain problems and cant lift anything heavy with her arm.. this is 5 years past now.... What did the person who rear ended her do.... skipped town.. changed her name and dissapeared!

Yeah .. thats fair... mess someones life up so she cant even carry her own baby anymore but.. hay.. dont take too much.... *hit!

Yeah he is alive.. no thanks to the guy who hit him.. Thank GOD for that!

In this day and age.... and yes.. SOME people are sue happy... You will get spat on and pushed aside if you dont stand up for yourselves....

FAIR and SUTABLE compensation for his loss and possible losses in the future...

Im finished...

So now let me get it straight... You got $8,000 more than what you paid for your car, and it was your fault, and you blaming other people for your high insurance, and you're calling them dishonest?

Default Talk about dishonest!

I agree with ATCGA. Most people I know have been seriously ripped off by an insurance company at one time or another. I have stories of my own, but this isn't about me. It's the most under-regulated business in our nation, and they spend millions on lobbyists to keep it that way.

Get what you can out of them! The less they cooperate with your reasonable requests for replacement value, the more you should complain about back pain and the need to see lots of doctors.

Their job is to pay you as little as possible, which means you lose money for their client's bad driving. If they won't make it right, go after them with every weapon at your disposal. And don't think for a minute that they won't do the same to you.

Sorry for your loss. Best of luck. BE RUTHLESS!

Do yourself a favor. Get a lawyer. As a general rule, you will get a larger insurance recovery with an attorney. Try to get a referral from family or friends. If possible, meet with at least two attorneys. Also, make sure the attorney puts his fees in writing. Good Luck!

Just my $0.02, but if you intend to keep the car for years and years, my advice would be to skip the nav. Eventually, software updates will cease when the system gets superceded, and it would kinda suck to have an out of date legacy system embedded in the dash!

what I said about getting $8,000 more than I paid. was meant for the idea of him BEING able to get fair market value so if HE has to pay over sticker for the car. that they WILL give him more than he paid to replace his car.

the SICK & THIEVES part was the comment made about trying to get double the medical bills. one from his insurance. then again from the guys insurance. that to me is FRAUD!!!!

I also said they SHOULD take care of all his medical bills and pain and suffering.

what you people need is to make a mistake and cause an accident. and someone u rear end say they have wipelash and say they cant perform sexually for there spouse. and cant have kids and you ruined there life. and sue you for a $1,000,000. mean while there in bahama's surfing and having orgies

NO ONE IS PERFECT and thats why they call it an accident!!!!!

I NEVER SAID NOT TO HAVE THEM NOT PAY HIS MEDICAL BILLS, PAIN AND SUFFERING, AND REPLACE HIS CAR FOR ANY AMOUNT IT COSTS TO REPLACE IT.

also i said B4 everyone becomes sue happy count your blessings that you servived. sometimes people arent as fortunate EX. sept, 11 2001 ---- last month SNIPER Mohammad and everyone else that has lost there life for no reason at all.

OH and just for the record my sister was walking across street in san fransico. and a CITY bus hit her and threw her about 15 feet. she suffered whiplash to her neck and back, and severe bruising but NEVER ONCE did she say IM going to SUE!!! she is just happy shes alive and that there paying for all her medical bills.

And does she have anything in writing that if future illness is due to this bus accident that she will be compensated? She would if she had an attorney!

I got hit by a car on my bike a few years back. At first I was gonna be like "accidents happen", but then several people said something to me: Sue the crap out of them, so you can bet they'll be more careful drivers in the future. So I sued the guy with an attorney and got several thousand dollars, enough to make it uncomfortable on the guy. It was 100% his fault, BTW.

Yes, LeMans350z should be glad to be alive - but only because somebody else screwed up really bad! Sometimes you screw up and you suffer the consequences, as the guy who hit LeMans350z should.

You need to read the original accident report. The POS in the Durango made an ILLEGAL U-turn and was going THE WRONG WAY. He needs to BURY this f**ker and make his life miserable. NO MERCY!

Question

I want to thank everyone for their input. I am meeting with a lawyer tomorrow that one of our memebers on the site has recommended. I am not lookin' to get anything more than what is owed to me by the fact the accident happened.

I am currently lookin' at a replacement car with all my options except nav. I might have a few leads on cars with nav but don't know how easy it would be to get them. I am thinking aftermarket nav would provide an easier way for me to add DVD movie cabability to my car.

Does anyone have any experience with aftermarket nav? Which systems are the best? I am reviewing the Kenwood and Alpine systems at the moment. Does anyone know which models of the screens will fit into our nav hole?

Thanks for any input.

Jeremy
