Yeah just spent an hour downloading and it's not a supported format. I'm wondering does it work for the person who encoded the file?

Works fine for me and I was the first person to get it. As far as I know the file has worked for the people that downloaded from me.

I think a firewall problem stopped me from setting up a faster server today. I had Kazaa on all day but I'm willing to bet no one could see me.

Actually that is the right size so I bet you guys just have the wrong codec.

I do a lot of video stuff so it wasn't an issue for me. Maybe I can figure it out and let you know.

Sorry guys, I tried the file on a computer that doesn't have the codec and the sound played but no video. Then I installed the codec and it worked perfect, video and all.

I am using windows media player 7 and 8.

Sounds like the header on your file is messed up.

Maybe tomarrow I will upload the "good" file to one or two of the fast servers.

For some reason only half of the people can find me on kazaa, must be regional servers?? Anyway there have been some other servers posted in this thread but I don't think you want those. It is a higher quality video of the ones that Jmanz posted on the site with a few extra scenes, though not much.

Alear,

Which codec did you install to get it to work perfect?

What would be a good idea is to zip it up using best compression before you upload it. I was able to cut the size from 664 to 547mb when doing that. And if I compressed it using WinRAR I was able to compress it to 534mb.

I used the most recent DIVX codec to encode. I can see it fine in Windows media player. I'll download one of the files out there to make sure it isn't corrupt.

It's gotta be corrupt, I encode files too, and I have Divix 5.0.2 and it doesn't play. For everyone of us but you and alear. Props to you for encoding! Not trying to give you a hard time.

Could you rename and re-enable so I can download and test the file you have?

Also, alear has a good copy and a faster upload speed than I.

Thanks Alear: you continue to ROCK!

Has anyone tried

http://www.divx-digest.com/software/divfix.html

on your corrupt divx?

If I had a copy of the corrupt version I could just make a patch for it, seems like a shame for everyone to download it again.
