im buying some new rotors, however I want to get the hawk pads to get rid of the dust 5K miles.

I have heard that its not good to do rotors and pads at the same time. Just looking for validity and if this rumor I heard is true what should I do first?

Or should I just same a lot of time and do them both at the same time.
