So what's your "other" car?
Mine is a 2001.5 Audi A4 Quattro Sport. Mods include exhaust, suspension, ECU chip and big turbo kit...about a 240 hp 4-cylinder (not a Z, but not bad either).
Had a Mustang as well and even a Fiero (!) GT back in the late 80s...
Will probably keep the A4.

No flames please . . . I have a 1996 Mustang Convertible. It was my first american car (maybe my last, but I do like Vettes). I was looking for a 300Z and could not find one that was "perfect." I have had it for 2 years and have had no problems with it. I do hate that the quality is not even close to the Nissans and Toyotas I have owned. It has been fun to mess with and play with. I like the V8 but I wish mine had more HP. It can spin the tires like crazy but I want more sport. One other thing that I found out is that girls like convertibles. I will miss that, but the Z should do ok in that department (No I dont go out looking for girls they just find me). By the way, when should I sell her? I am thinking now while it is in season. I will buy a beater until the arrival of my Z.

I'm carless at this point. I'll either wait until August, or buy like a 91 240SX or something to use until then. I'll most likely just wait though.

My other car is a '99 saab viggen. I got rid of my old '94 300zx (which I still miss) to get it. The saab has been a lot of fun to own and I like the fact that it's a limited production model. The engine is very powerful and I love the rush I get when the turbo kicks in

I have a Maxima now with various suspension and engine mods. I don’t really want to get rid of it, but I don’t think I can afford the Z without selling it. We’ll find out when the time comes.

My other car is a 2000 Mercedes SLK230 Kompressor, bright yellow with automatic transmission. I share the car with my wife and she is the one that wanted Auto and Yellow. Now she will have the car all to herself and I'll have my blue 6-speed Z. We also have a 97 Honda Odyssey minivan for hauling around people and stuff (most reliable vehicle I've ever owned with zero problems since new).

94 Volvo 850 - can't break it and it's such a good car I can't part with it either.
89 IROC-Z - New everything, engine (350 TPI), transmission, you name it. Many suspension mods and handles unlike any other Camaro. This one's got to go so it's for sale.
84 300ZX Turbo - it was my car but I sold it to my son for a song. Now while he's in college it sits in my garage so I can play with it any time I want. It's pretty stock in the looks department but that's where it ends. 11psi of boost, brembo cross-drilled rotors, stainless steel brake lines, etc., HRE wheels and tires, momo steering wheel and shift ****. It's probably the nicest one in the country. Oh well, the kid needed a break!
How's that?

I traded in a 2000 Lincoln LS8 when I preordered to get a sales tax break on the 350Z.
I bought a 2001 Subaru Outback Limited from my dad to drive until the Z comes in, which I'll use as my daily driver/winter car after I get the Z.
Here's a list of my lengthy car history: http://allowmetobefrank.homestead.com/Vehicles.html
