Damn, the '05s just started showing up a month ago - finally clearing up all the rumors about them. Now you want to start rumors already on the '06s. Come back in about 9 months.

No 06! They decided to skip 06 and just make 07s. They want it to be made only on odd years for the next 5 years.

I read this from a Nissan Web site (cant remeber where or I would tell you).

The 2006 350Z will be converted to a 4 door/ All Wheel Drive platform. Nissan will change the existing 6 cyl to a 4 cylinder turbo boxer motor. It will be called the 350 ZSTI. Im putting in my pre-order today.

That's totally untrue, a friend of my family is a sale director in Japan Cooperate Office told us that due to the infamous tires problems with the Z. Nissan has decided to to end production after 2005 model. All these warranty works are dragging down their profits of the Z. So go out and get the car while you can, time is running out.

As soon as a member shows up a crystal ball, we'll let you know about 06 changes.

Or wait until 07 & then we can tell you what changes the 06 had!

I'm not sure about the 06, but I was wondering if anybody knows what changes they will make in 07?

No 06's, 05 will be the last year production ,hence the 35th anniv. Get it while you can. get ready for the Skyline

If you have Nissan dealer access , check out NNAnet.com.

Given we have had three years of minor tweaks and upgrades, conventional wisdom would maintain that the Z is due for some type of light revision or performance upgrade in 06. Many vehicles get a redesign in the 4-5 year window.

Given there is a 300 hp Z on the roads now look to Nissan to leverage much/some of that across the entire Z family (base - track). Although, that would require the track getting something over and above to distinguish it from the others.

Let me be clear though: I am speculating based on lots of intangible items.

Holy crap that sux!

I'm glad I got mine now. I hope this means if I get tire problems, they'll take care of me, because there is clearly a problem that cannot be fixed, so they're just getting rid of the car. So sad I might sob a bit, but I'll be driving my Z again after work, so all sobs will clear up.

You guys that really believe Nissan is going to discontinue the Z after 05, or even 06, please contact me. I've got a bridge in Brooklyn that will be of great interest to you!! LOL!

2007 Z will have a flux capacitor. I have been told by a certain NNA rep that Scottie will be optional!
