Default Open up breathing, what about the ECU?

If the following were to be installed:

CAI
HEADERS
(DOWN PIPES??)
HI-FLOW CATS
TRUE-DUAL EXHAUST

Would not the ECU need a tweak? If so, what product would you suggest?

Grazi.

The default answer is of course Technosquare. Are there any other companies out there that do ECU flashes for our cars? I don't know that I've ever heard of one.

It's not cheap, but the reflash is customized to your modifications. It is also better to wait until all your mods are in place to have it done. It really makes a big difference in how your mods perform. Basically it helps them work together to improve overall performance. It also raises the rev limiter to 7100 rpm. My car runs so much better now.

Makes absolute sense. I wouldn't do it any other way.

Thank you for the info.

BTW, are there down-pipes in the Z? Or do the headers connect directly to the cats? (Sorry for such a NUB question. I could just go outside and look under the hood, eh? Or under the car..)

Cheers.

Did you look under the car yet ? Headers are connected to the CATS. No down pipes.
