Believe it or not, my wife picked this one out of a list of about 15 I jotted down. I would have never guessed she would pick this one. Sometimes I think it's a bit "over the top," but people seem to like it as long as they realize it's a bit tongue in cheek. I know that no one is gonna believe my wife picked this one out!!
As far as the "Poor man's Porsche" frame. That is a carry-over from my MR2 Spyder that was always called a poor man's Boxster. Now I just drive the poor man's (or should it be smart man's? ) 911.

Maybe I'll change the plate frame to:
Smart Man's Porsche.
Seriously though. I love having that frame at the track. In the morning the expensive car guys laugh at you. By the afternoon, they aren't laughing any more!

Either way, it make your Z sound like a Porsche wanna be. For me, I want my Z to be a Z, not a Porsche. I think a better phase to make the point is "Beat the Porsche with $20K+ change in the bank". It is a little long, but Porsche owners won't laugh either in the morning or afternoon.
BTW: How's your car running now with the new tranny? I took mine to the dealer, they verified the problems, called NNA hot line, and waiting for response from NNA engineer.

Raceboy... that is an awesome title "Poor man's Porsche"... I totally wanna get one of those...
What's funny is that I always though the 350Z looked like the Porsche and a lil like the SC430 Lexus... I love both... The 350Z is the closest I'll ever get to either... So right on with the plate!!! hehe

All in all, I think I'll keep the "Poor Man's Porsche" frame. It's also kind of an inside joke for me after being treated poorly at a Porsche dealer prior to ordering my Z. The sales manager ran out as I was leaving because he recognized me from some other business dealing, but by then it was too late. I can't wait to bring the Z to a few PCNA events.

Awesome plate! And I like your Poor Man's Porshe. It shows a sense of humor and after people see you run, they'll know you're a force to be reckoned with.
I've always enjoyed being underestimated!

That plate is bound to start up some street wars. lol
I really hope no one messes with the car if you leave it somewhere. Statements like that make crazy people notice.
Anyhow, I think its cool...

The Wise 1 is wise indeed. Please for love of God, lose the plate frame. It gives the appearance that you are somehow unsatisfied and "settling" on driving a Z.
I love the plate but really think the plate frame would go better on the garage wall.

All of us simply expressed our own opinion and personal view toward the 350Z ownership. It is your car, so you should express your view, not others.
In any case, I love your "FEARMYZ" Forgot to mention that in my previous post.
Glad to hear that your car run perfect now. I hope mine will soon.
