Will Bose be a problem on newest Z's?
I've read the problem may be isolated to to early VIN numbers. So if I get a touring later this year / early next year, will I have to worry about the Bose still?
my thoughts are that the problem is very recently fixed, and they have probably corrected it in the factory by now, but there will still be cars for a month or so that were built prior to the fix. the dealers might automaticly correct them tho.
but if your not getting one for a month or more, theres a good chance yours will be fine.

1. It was produced before Sept. 27
2. Before VIN# T005616
3. Before VIN# T104720
So it will all depend where your car fits into the above guidelines.
My Bose seems to be improving some. I don't know maybe it's breaking in too.
is it getting better, or have you been listening to CDs? I use CDs not to get around it, and suprisingly it works well, as I drive it gets louder and softer when I stop. I like it, as long as the whole thing gets louder and not just the bass.

I play cd's when I'm on longer drives...along the twisties along the coast
Cd's and tape have always sounded good.I plan to follow the test procedure as described in the TSB this weekend to see if I "qualify" for a new amp.
