OK.. Bottom line.. Why do some owners have the feathering and some not?? Why?? What's different on the cars that do not?? Anyone care to comment??

I would think that if anybody knew, including Nissan, then there would be a definitive fix out and no one would have it anymore.

 

no feathering since oct 2002. I think its just minute tolerance differences in the manufacturing process. some happen to get parts on one end of the spectrum with no problems, and those on the other get screwed. must just be something about the Z that these tolerances are snowballed into such an issue.
