Default need help on which z to get

Im thinking of selling my 02 wrx to get a new z. All the different models has me a little confused. I did a search but did not really find what I was looking for. Can somebody explain to me what the diff is between each model. Thanks for the help and hope to be a new z owner soon.

Go to the Nissan site above & find the Z. Then click on "specifications"; it gives a chart that compares the 5 models.

So many variables so little time...

I think the concensus is the best value for money is the Perfomance trim.

I went with the Track model cuz it's a good value if you're tracking the car for any length of time and can avoid the mod bug. Performance-wise the Rays wheels are tough to beat, and the brembo brakes will hold up well on the track. I've heard horror stories about the nissan brakes after a few laps...

Enthusiast is most bang for the buck. Thats what I started to buy but switched to Performance because I wanted a Brick w/o spoiler & my Performance was the only Brick-no spoiler in the State at the time.

Your right in not much difference. All have the same engine, drivetrain, & drop dead good lucks. Its all bells & whistles; the Enthusiast has lots of bells/whistles for extra 2 Gs over the Base.

IMO the most fun is the Roadster! Either model is fine.

Enthusiast....

I regret the track in SO many ways.

The wheels don't hold enough rubber.
VDC is a PITA as it's TOO agressive, and I just turn it off on the track anyway.
The brakes aren't bad... however with the $$$ saved I could have gotten a Stoptech BBK.

i agree....if i had known anything about modding this car before i got it, i would have got a performance and bought nismo wheels and some bbk. performance over enthusiast because of all the rain during the summer in miami.

but then again, if i didn't get the track i would have had to wait 3 months to get a Z. and i dont think i could have waited that long. i'd probably have ended up with a sti since they were just about to come out and were more easy to find on dealer lots for sale.
