wuz up everyone, this is the deal, i own an srt4 lightly modded and i took my friend 350z the other they and have hadded for like 2 days a,d i feel in love wit it, its awesome, now im debating weather to give up the srt4 for a 350z or not, i mean i have only spent 900 on my srt4 and it does 13.1 a 107 on stock balled street tires, i dyno'd it and got 275hp and 300torque to the wheels, but when i drive the see i totally forget abiut the neon but i love the neon to, its an awesome car, but the z is a beast and cant just amaging how it would be wit a turbo kit, i mean come on guys what would u do, help a brother out, im mad comfused, thanx!

ive also come across the same situation. You have to ask yourself what are you really looking for? DO you want a really really really fast neon Or do you want a fast Z that all the girls look at ?? For me ive decided 2 go wit the Z and i love the attention. Release the beast wiithin you!


srt4's are fast nothing more Z's have it all

 

why not have both?

 

this will be mean, but writing like that only perpetuates the stereotypes of SRT4 owners. punctuation, a few correctly spelled words, grammar, all would be nice.

anyway, the SRT4 is a damn fine car with one huge mistake, its on the neon chassis. FWD is totally out of place for it. give it 1000hp and watch it peel half way down the track; what good is power if you cant put it down to the ground. the Z is also nicer inside. but that doesnt help that the Z is 6000$ more on average, thats a chunk, and the SRT4 will be faster up till about 5000$ in aftermarket.

 

If you came hear to ask...you have already made up your mind and you are just looking for validation.

Problem is that you will now be buying a Z for thousands more since you will have to sell away that Neon.

point: buy the car with looks cuz its performance can always be upgrade to beat anything.

Marhot, I see you enjoy ripping on posters that are grammatically challenged.

I actually found your paraphase of what one of the posters said in the "How old you are you?" pretty comical.

The older I get, the more I shake my head at some of these teenagers - which is funny considering I was a punk teenager just 4 years ago. Hearing "street slang" in everyday conversation isn't bad, but when it's typed out, it reads like $hit.

 

I know someone who has an SRT-4 and they refuse to accept the fact its a Neon. They emphasize over and over again how it has Viper Seats. LOL Like that was ever a good reason to buy a car.

Anyway, there is no comparison between the two cars. One's a wanna be and the other is the real thing. As mentioned before, anything can be made fast. I would rather have a quick beauty than a fast as hell tuna fish can on wheels.

Go with the Z, the chicks dig it. By the way, I dont give a damn what they do to the Neon to make it an SRT-4, it will always be a girls car. I hope you didnt get it in red!!

 

did you really expect an unbiased answer from the Z forums? What Z owner is going to tell you to keep a neon?
