You will never see that car or any parts of that car here in the U.S.

Back on topic... if history repeats itself, then we should be seeing the all new redesigned Z a short while after the G37 is launched this August. Similar to how the G35 sedan came out then the coupe then the 350z. We should probably see the concept/production version by next year and it should be available for sale some time after that with the new 3.7. Then we will see the GTR.

I don't think the G37 and that new Altima share alot of styling by accident either.
Take a look at BMW. They have the 335i available now and the new M3 coming this fall. You dont think they will discontinue the 335 after the M3 is launch, do u? I dont think Nissan will discontinue the Z due to the fact that its their best selling car and they will follow BMW's trend of offering both a enrty level sports car(Z) and a high end performance coupe(GTR).

hmm...it may be one of the best selling sports cars...but the annual reports show it declining in sales and i think the z is nissans worst selling car...i mean if it sold 30k units in the us...and it was the worst...imagine now fter 06 selling less than 20k......also nissan is going through rough times due to lack of sales expectations..it wouldnt be surprising if there wasnt an 08/09 z...maybe an 08 but i doubt there will be a resdesign....jmo from things ive read ad gathered....

Just clicked on the link for 380RS, what model is that? Japan only? 3.8L V6, how much HP does it output?

nevermind, I found the answer:

"Two versions have been announced, the first is track-only model called the 380RS-C (C for competition), the second is a street model being sold at Nissan dealers. Both versions use a Nissan VQ series V6 engine, bored and stroked to 3.8L. The track-only 380RS-C makes 400hp, and the street version makes approximately 350hp. The Nismo 380RS is only being sold in Japan"

Even if they did redesign in 08, would you really want a guinee pig Z? Tires feathering comes to mind...

Never get the first batch. Wait till 09.
